About Guinto Games

Guinto Games is an independent hybrid casual game studio based in New Zealand. We design and develop mobile games that blend the instant pick-up-and-play appeal of casual gaming with deeper mechanics — progression systems, strategic decision-making, and long-term player engagement.

As an indie studio, we handle everything from concept and game design to development, monetisation, and live operations. Every game we release is built in-house with a focus on quality and player satisfaction.

Hybrid casual games sit at the intersection of hyper-casual simplicity and midcore depth. They feature easy-to-learn core loops that anyone can enjoy, layered with meta-game systems like upgrades, progression, unlockables, and strategic choices that keep players coming back.

This genre has become one of the fastest-growing segments in mobile gaming because it delivers both broad accessibility and strong long-term retention — the best of both worlds.

We believe the best hybrid casual games are built on three pillars:

We use Unity for development and Unity LevelPlay for ad mediation, working with top-tier ad networks to ensure a smooth and well-monetised player experience.

Our debut title, One Tower - Idle Tower Defense, is a hybrid casual idle strategy game where players defend against waves of monsters while upgrading their tower through deep progression systems. It reached the Top 40 Strategy Games on Android and Top 200 Strategy Games on the App Store, with over 10,000 downloads.

We are actively developing new hybrid casual titles across idle, strategy, and action genres — always looking to push the boundaries of what casual mobile games can be.
